I am a 35-year-old mother, a social scientist, a political enthusiast, and a dog and horse owner. I was a candidate for the Joensuu City Council in the April 2025 municipal elections and I got elected.

My biggest motivation for municipal politics is my love for Joensuu.  I want Joensuu to be a safe, international, and vibrant city. I am particularly passionate about the issues of children, young people, and families.

I'm driven by a belief that politics should be about finding practical solutions while staying true to our values. My own values are anchored in equality, equity, education, and respect for nature. I want to foster a political climate where we can respect eachothers.
